Tucson Acupuncturist Thanks Kiwanis de Amigos!
By Sherry Tejada | August 11, 2009
We started our day with the Kiwanis de Amigos for their breakfast meeting here in Tucson AZ! Juan Tejada, our Acupuncturist, was the guest speaker.
During the meeting, the Kiwanis were discussing their upcoming events. The “Rattlesnake Run” is a very large annual event they co-ordinate and sponsor every year for Middle School students from all over the area. There is no charge for the kids who participate, but is funded by donations from the community, individuals, and businesses. It’s a fun event for these kids and they receive a t-shirt and medals and attention from all involved! This year’s run is on Sept. 12th 2009 at the Christopher Columbus Park here in Tucson. To help sponsor or participate or for more information contact Kiwanis de Amigos, Jack Hamilton (520) 909-6114 or visit their website http:/www.kiwanisdeamigos.org
Many thanks to the Kiwanis for all the things they do for many kids. And an additional thank you for allowing American Health Acupuncture to share the “Healing Power of Acupuncture” and to enjoy a great breakfast with them.
