Raw Food – Organic – Spaghetti Sauce – Healthy Diet -Tucson Acupuncture
By Sherry Tejada | September 28, 2011
Eating RAW sounds terrible! It’s not what you think! My first thoughts were Iceburg Lettuce and some Bottled Salad Dressing….Yuck! I’ve found I love to eat RAW 70% of the time and on 70% of everything I eat is RAW! I feel better and my skin glows. It’s a lot of fun trying all the healthy very flavorful recipes that are abundant everywhere. You have to try this out and get hooked like me! This recipe is low to no acidity as heating up the tomatoes creates acidity. Great for a balanced PH level in your body. Here is one of my favorites: Raw Spaghetti Sauce Just click on the link and enjoy!

Healthy Recipe – Humus – Raw Food – Tucson Acupuncture
By Sherry Tejada | August 30, 2011
Raw Food has been
around longer than the term. However, we now have a guide to choosing it for
most of what we consume. By not heating up past 105 degrees or microwaving
food, the original enzymes remain intact and you gain more food value. Our
Acupuncturist always says to avoid the “dead food”. Dead food is processed, frozen, microwaved, and canned
foods. These types of foods have no medicinal or nutritional value.
Humus is a healthy protein spread or dip with lots of flavor. Once you get started with humus, you can create many different flavors and varieties. So here are two recipes to get your creative juices and taste buds flowing. Enjoy eating living foods!
